Releasing The Anchor Of Pain
Pain is a small four-letter word but it has such a devastating effect on our mind, body and soul. Some of us aimlessly go through life trying to extinguish it by any means necessary but eventually the pain will go from a flame to a raging fire.

Pain is a small four-letter word but it has such a devastating effect on our mind, body and soul. Growing up in America we have gone through many struggles. We strive to make a better living. We strive to give our off springs a good future. We essentially strive for good lives. Along the way we have a big anchor chained to our legs called pain. We are in pain from childhood experiences that we can’t seem to let go. We are in pain from loved ones treating us with disrespect and trampling on the love we offer them. We carry pain from unfortunate circumstances and situations that happen in our life.
Most of all we are chained to the pain of being incomplete. We don’t realize the void in our lives and the everlasting plucking at our heartstrings and the heavy feeling in the pit of our stomachs. Some of us aimlessly go through life trying to fill the void with the love of a mate that’s no good. Some of us may turn to sex, drugs or alcohol for comfort. Some of us tend to work an addiction into our lives to wash away the pain. Some of us will obsess with money or find a way to escape reality by any means necessary. Eventually the pain will go from a flame to a raging fire. It worsens. We need to go deep within and get in touch with ourselves. We need to reach to our higher power and get all the strength and nourishment we need to grow and flourish. We need to obtain and hold onto self-confidence and gain self-love. No one will truly be able to love us if we don’t know and love ourselves. It’s a process. It’s called change. We are all here for a reason. We must strive to fulfill our destiny. Replace the negative thoughts with positive thoughts. A caterpillar crawls the earth going through many uphill battles. It doesn’t give up! It eventually goes through an incubation process that results in a transformation. It is becoming complete. After it has shed the skin of negativity, fear and pain it puts on a whole new being. It transforms into an exhilarating, colorful butterfly. It doesn’t crawl anymore but flies. That is what we must do. Let go of the pain. When things are bad turn within and breathe in peace and serenity. Exhale the problems and pain. Give it to your Higher Power along with all the past experiences, fears, addictions, denials, and various chains that ties us to the anchor of pain, which is holding us back from our destiny. We need to find our own individual passion. We are all gifted at something and enjoy doing it. That is our passion. Part of becoming complete is being able to focus our energy on our own inner passion and bringing it to fruition. We need to fill our hearts and minds with positivity. We need to cut the negativity out of our lives.
Turn away from others that don’t mean you well. Reach out to your kindred spirits. Smile each day because you know who you are and you are proud to be you. Wake up and live your life on a natural high. Run don’t be weary. Bloom and take off into that wondrous sunrise which marks a new day and a new life. Fly like a butterfly fulfilling your peaceful, joyful, loving destiny.
